Susanne Baron

Susanne Baron has been working for Zukunft – Umwelt – Gesellschaft (ZUG) in Cottbus since the end of 2019.  Since June 2025, the Cottbus native has been responsible for the public relations work of the PtX Lab Lausitz and the Competence Centre for Climate Protection in Energy-Intensive Industries (KEI) as Head of Communications Climate-Neutral Industry.

Prior to that, she was in charge of the university website and the central social media channels as an online editor at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau. Susanne gained further practical expertise in public sector communication at the Berlin School of Economics and Law and at the Universität der Künste Berlin. As a freelance graphic and web designer, she has been realising creative print and web projects for a wide range of clients on a part-time basis since 2012. Susanne holds a master's degree in print and media technology from the Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin.
