Vivek Rana

Vivek Rana joined the PtX Lab Lausitz Team in February 2024. His work focuses on integrating Sustainable Aviation Fuels in the multidimensional and diverse field of civil aviation. Furthermore, an analysis of political, environmental, technical, legal, business and economical aspects of aviation supply chain in relation with airports, airlines, original equipment manufacturers and aviation stakeholders to identify hurdles and solutions for next-generation future oriented e-fuels.

Before joining PtX Lab Lausitz, he worked as a strategy team member for the growth and development of a sustainable aviation NGO in Berlin. He contributed in defining future processes, organizational structure, short, medium & long-term goals and providing advisory services to other task groups.

Born in rural Himalayan-Mountainous region, Vivek Rana has a diverse background having gone to an elite-military officer school at the age of 13 and later completing his bachelors in National Capital Region of Delhi. After moving to Europe at the end of 2017, he completed his Masters in Aviation Management at Technical University, Wildau (Brandenburg) in 2022.

During his studies Vivek Rana focused on integrating in the European culture and learning different things to continue his personal and professional development.
