PtX Lab at the ILA 2026

From 10 June, PtX Lab Lausitz will be presenting pioneering approaches to sustainable flying and the development of synthetic fuels at ILA, the showcase for innovation in the aerospace industry.
The ILA is considered the oldest aviation trade fair in the world and is a central meeting place for trade visitors from all over the world. It will take place from 10 to 14 June 2026 at the Berlin ExpoCenter Airport in the immediate vicinity of BER Airport.
As the leading international aviation show, the ILA Berlin stands for technological trends, high-tech and sustainability. Under the motto ‘Pioneering Aerospace’, the trade fair brings together companies, politicians, scientists and decision-makers from the aerospace industry to shape the future of flying. The central theme is the defossilisation of aviation through the use of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and new propulsion technologies.
PtX Lab Lausitz is using the stage to present the expertise of the capital region together with the Brandenburg Economic Development Corporation (WFBB). At the ILA, the team is presenting current projects for the third time in a row and inviting visitors to engage in a professional exchange on future prospects and implementation paths for climate-neutral aviation. The Lab will provide information on the production and market ramp-up of PtX kerosene and the opportunities this presents for Lusatia.
What to expect
- Networking: Meet the PtX Lab Lausitz team in Hall B, Stand 320 at the joint stand with the Brandenburg Economic Development Corporation (WFBB). Our experts will be available for talks and discussions on all days of the fair.
- Innovations up close: Experience the latest technologies for climate-neutral aviation and learn about the synergies between the aviation industry and the energy transition in Brandenburg.
