PtX Lab Lausitz at the DECARBON DAYS 2025 in Cottbus

The DECARBON DAYS are celebrating their premiere as a new cleantech event for industrial transformation.
From 26 to 28 June 2025, cleantech, start-up culture and politics will come together at the DECARBON DAYS 2025 in the hangars on the site of the former airfield in Cottbus, where the Lausitz Science Park will be built in the future. PtX Lab Lausitz is involved as a vision partner and will contribute its expertise in PtX technologies.
The three-day event will focus on the following questions: How will clean technologies shape the future of our economy? How can Lusatia participate in this? And how will the former coal region become Europe's first ‘Net Zero Valley’?
Lusatian competence centres provide joint information on site
Together with the Competence Centre on Climate Change Mitigation in Energy-Intensive Industries (KEI), the PtX Lab Lausitz team of experts will be represented with a stand at the event. Visitors can find out about current projects, research approaches and specific applications of power-to-X and the climate-friendly transformation of industry.
The management team of the PtX Lab Lausitz, represented by Dr Sarah Bernhardt and Dr Harry Lehmann, will participate in key programme items, engage in discussions with political decision-makers and provide impetus for the transformation of energy-intensive industries.
A glimpse into the programme
- EU SUMMIT on 26 June 205: Exchange with representatives of the EU Commission and politicians on industrial decarbonisation – including Dr Christian Ehler, Member of the European Parliament
- TECH FESTIVAL on 27 June 2025: Networking with start-ups, research and industry on cleantech, hydrogen and net-zero innovations.
