PtX Lab Talk focuses on the production and supply chains of synthetic fuels (SAF) and presents its own ideas on Book & Claim (B&C) for green jet fuel
ReFuelEU Aviation is introducing a blending quota for sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) in the European Union. For a transitional period, SAF suppliers can flexibly concentrate the available fuel at individual airports without having to fulfil the quotas at each individual airport. By mid-2024, the Commission must evaluate developments in the production and supply of SAF. The aim is to expand the ‘flexibility mechanism’ if necessary - possibly with elements of a book-and-claim (B&C) system.
