Interim results and outlook for the energy transition: PtX Lab Lausitz provides information on current projects and power-to-X technologies.
On 11 June 2025, PtX Lab Lausitz will be represented at the 25th Brandenburg Energy Day at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU). Under the motto ‘Interim results and outlook for the energy transition’, the future of energy supply will be discussed in a panel discussion and four parallel expert forums.
The PtX Lab Lausitz will provide information on current projects, technologies and perspectives relating to Power-to-X and the transformation of the energy system as part of the trade exhibition. Visitors are cordially invited to talk to our team on site.
Programme with personalities from politics, science and industry
The event will be opened by BTU President Prof. Dr. Gesine Grande and the President of the Cottbus Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Jens Warnken. This will be followed by a welcome address by Daniel Keller, Minister for Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Climate Action of the State of Brandenburg.
A highlight of the morning will be the presentation of the Brandenburg Energy Efficiency Awards by Minister Keller, followed by a panel discussion on the status of the energy transition in Brandenburg.
This will be followed by four parallel expert forums. Forum 1 on the topic of ‘Energy transition through energy efficiency’ will be moderated by Jakob Flechtner, head of our partner competence centre, the Competence Centre on Climate Change Mitigation in Energy-Intensive Industries (KEI).
