On 19 April 2025, the BOOMTOWN Job Day in Cottbus opens its doors to job seekers and other interested parties. The ZUG, the PtX Lab Lausitz and the KEI will be there.
On Easter Saturday, the time has come: the BOOMTOWN Job Day in Cottbus offers job seekers the opportunity to make contact with companies and institutions.
ZUG gGmbH, the Competence Centre on Climate Change Mitigation in Energy-Intensive Industries (KEI) and the PtX Lab Lausitz will be there to present themselves as attractive employers and drivers of innovation for environmental and climate protection.
Both Cottbus-based competence centres received the ‘Attractive Employer 2024’ award from EGC Wirtschaftsförderung Cottbus last year. The PtX Lab Lausitz was also honoured with the special prize for diversity for its promotion of diversity and integration in the workplace.
The recruiting fair is aimed at returnees, newcomers and anyone interested in exploring career prospects in Cottbus.

As part of the Energy Transition Region Lusatia, the PtX Lab Lausitz is showcasing exciting career opportunities in a forward-looking work environment. Our team will be providing information about career prospects, research projects and the importance of PtX technologies for the sustainable transformation of the region. Participants will be able to talk to our colleagues in person.

A colourful programme for the whole family
The recruiting fair offers not only career prospects but also information on living, education and leisure in Cottbus. Questions about daycare and school places will be answered. The family-friendly orientation ensures entertainment with children's entertainment, handicrafts and highlights such as an Easter bunny and a real unicorn. The event will be opened by the Mayor, Tobias Schick, accompanied by the Cottbus Pub Choir.
