How can structural change succeed in Lusatia? What can we learn from other German regions? These and other questions we discussed with experts at the fourth PtX Lab Talk on November 17, 2022.
Lusatia is at the starting point of a profound process of change. Lignite mining will foreseeably lose its economic significance for the region. In the course of structural change, new energy technologies are to be established in Lusatia, among other things.
How can green hydrogen and synthetic fuels contribute to a new start in the region? What can we learn from previous structural change processes in Germany? This is what the speakers and participants of the fourth PtX Lab Talks discussed. Central findings from the analysis of social change in Lusatia were also presented.
