Anita Demuth

Anita Demuth is an economist with experience in scientific work, project management and policy advisory.

She was Deputy Head of the PtX Lab Lausitz from 2021 to 2025. Since September 2025, she has been Head of the PtX Mobility Section. In this position, her focus is on developing political, economic and technological solutions for climate-neutral aviation and shipping.

Prior to this, she worked as advisor for the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit in various projects and countries on financing and implementing climate protection in companies, in particular in the energy and industrial sector, as well as at national level in developing and emerging countries.
