Kathrin Liebhäuser

Kathrin Liebhäuser is a Policy Advisor at PtX Lab Lausitz, where she joined the PtX Mobility Team in May 2026. Her work focuses on climate action in transport, particularly policy and regulatory issues related to scaling up PtX-based fuels in international aviation and maritime transport.

Previously, Kathrin worked as an external consultant for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), advising on strategic business development in transport and mobility transformation. She has experience in strategy, project management and stakeholder engagement, as well as at GIZ’s liaison office to federal ministries, in the think tank sector and in industry, where she worked in procurement and supply chain management.

Kathrin holds a B.A. in International Business from Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) and Shanghai University in China, and an M.A. in International Relations and Sustainable Development from Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and Malmö University in Sweden.
