Martin Hock

Expert

Martin Hock joined PtX Lab Lausitz as an expert in international law in February 2023. His main focus is on the European and international legal aspects of green hydrogen and PtX as well as general policy considerations regarding the market ramp-up of PtX products. He co-coordinates the Lab’s working group on PtX in shipping.

Before joining the Lab he has worked as a research associate for several chairs of legal studies at Technische Universität Dresden and as visiting lecturer (Lehrbeauftragter/Gastdozent) in international law (Technische Universität Dresden, Leuphana Universität Lüneburg, Queen’s University Belfast).

He completed his M.A. in ‚International Relations‘ at Technische Universität Dresden as well as his LLM in ‚Law and Politics of International Security‘ at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He currently finishes his PhD (Dr. iur.) in international law at Technische Universität Dresden.
