In a system of global markets, technological leadership is increasingly shifting towards Asia – with direct implications for German supply chains, export markets and the competitiveness of industry.
Why Asia is Becoming Crucial for the PtX Market
China is vigorously driving the market ramp-up of these technologies and is taking a leading role. Japan is pursuing ambitious climate targets to become climate-neutral by 2050 and is promoting the development and application of PtX technologies for economic and security reasons.

PtX Technology and Market Radar Asia as a Guide
The PtX Lab Lausitz is currently working on the ‘PtX Technology and Market Radar Asia’ project to analyse current developments in technologies and markets relating to PtX technologies in Asia. The interim findings will be presented to the public for the first time as part of the Lab Talk. The aim of the project is to assess the state of the art and the market both in an international comparison and in the context of the PtX Lab.
