PtX Lab Lausitz has been recognised as “Attraktiver Arbeitgeber 2026” (Eng: attractive employer) by EGC Wirtschaftsförderung Cottbus for the second consecutive year – an acknowledgement of a lived corporate culture and attractive working conditions.
What makes an attractive employer? For EGC Wirtschaftsförderung Cottbus, the answer lies in fair working conditions, diversity and a lived corporate culture. On 8 October 2026, the organisation presented PtX Lab Lausitz with its jury prize for the second consecutive year.
Susanne Baron, Head of Section Communication Climate-Neutral Industry, and Anja Paumen, expert PtX Policy and Market Ramp-Up, accepted the award on behalf of the entire team. We are delighted by this recognition and see it as an incentive to continue creating a working environment where people enjoy their work and contribute together to the future of the energy transition.
About the Competition
Together with the Competence Centre on Climate Change in Energy-Intensive Industries (KEI), both Lusatian business units of Zukunft – Umwelt – Gesellschaft (ZUG) gGmbH were honoured – a total of 31 Cottbus-based companies received the award. All companies headquartered in the city of Cottbus are eligible to participate. The application process includes a written questionnaire and an on-site visit, during which the jury gets to know the company first-hand. Assessment is based on a transparent set of criteria, with jury members drawn from IHK Cottbus, the Chamber of Crafts, DGB, the Federal Employment Agency, Wirtschaftsförderung Brandenburg and BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.
